klodivo Content and Moderation Policy
1. What we moderate
Listings, store pages, photos, messages, feedback, usernames and store names. We act on content that is illegal under EU or Danish law, and on content that breaks our Terms of Use, Seller Terms or Listing rules: for example counterfeit or unsafe items, scams and requests to pay outside klodivo, abuse and harassment, personal data of others, and infringements of trademarks or copyright.
2. How we find it
- Reports from users and anyone else (section 3).
- Automatic flags, always checked by a person before anything is decided:
- messages that mention contact details or payment outside klodivo;
- listings priced far below the price guide (more than 70% under, when there are at least 3 recent sales to compare).
- Store review: every new store is checked by a moderator before its listings appear in search.
No content is removed by an automated system alone.
3. Reporting illegal content
Anyone, with or without a klodivo account, can report content they believe is illegal:
- with the "Report" link on a listing, store or message, or
- at klodivo.com/report, or by email to legal@klodivo.com.
Please include:
- why you believe the content is illegal;
- the exact link (URL) to it;
- your name and email address (not required for reports about child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.
We confirm we received your report, look at it promptly, and tell you what we decided and why, and how you can challenge the decision. Product safety reports are handled within 3 working days.
Rights holders (for example trademark owners) can use the same route.
4. What we can do
- Keep the content (if it is lawful and within our rules).
- Hide a listing and ask the store to fix it, or remove it.
- Remove a store from search, hold its payouts, or suspend it.
- Warn, restrict or suspend an account, or reset an offensive username.
- Remove feedback or messages that are illegal or abusive.
- Report to the police information that suggests a crime threatening someone's life or safety, as the law requires.
We act diligently, objectively and in proportion, with regard to everyone's rights, including freedom of expression.
5. Statement of reasons
When we restrict your content or account (removing or hiding content, limiting visibility, holding or freezing payouts, suspending or closing an account), we email you:
- what we did, its scope and how long it lasts;
- the facts and circumstances we relied on, including whether it came from a report;
- whether automated means were used to detect it;
- the law or the rule in our terms it is based on;
- how you can challenge it.
6. Challenging a decision
Reply to our email or write to legal@klodivo.com. A person who wasn't involved in the first decision reviews it, and we reply within 10 business days. You can also go to court. Business stores have further rights under the Seller Terms, section 12.
7. Repeated misuse
We may suspend accounts that frequently post clearly illegal content, and may stop processing reports from people who frequently send clearly unfounded reports, after a warning.
8. Contact points
- For users: legal@klodivo.com, in English or Danish. Answered by a person.
- For authorities (Member State authorities, the European Commission and the Board for Digital Services, and market surveillance authorities for product safety): legal@klodivo.com, in Danish or English.
The Danish Digital Services Coordinator is Digitaliseringsstyrelsen (the Danish Agency for Digital Government). klodivo is a micro-enterprise, so the Digital Services Act's rules for larger platforms (articles 15, 19–28 except 24(3), and 30–32) don't apply to it; we follow the core ones anyway where they help users.
