Turn on two-step verification

Two-step verification asks for a code from an authenticator app when you sign in, so a stolen password isn't enough to get into your account.
- Go to Account → Security and choose to turn on two-step verification.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code.
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe. Each works once if you lose your phone.
You can choose to trust a device for 30 days so it doesn't ask every time.
